Wii System Reset IF warranty expired you can try can air spray or one those cleaning disc first (doubt the latter works but got nothing to loose) before spending $80 to get it fixed. If your Wii has worked fine up until now, then most likely the problem is an accumulation of dirt in the lens, which is what the cleaning kit is for.
